f. & co was created in Montreal in 2012.
Following a tightly-knit collaboration focused on academic projects in association with HEC Montreal, the MosaiC research group, the University of Barcelona and the University of Strasbourg, Louis-Felix Binette and Francis Gosselin wanted to contribute to Montreal’s creative and innovative networks by building a flexible and dynamic entity. Their goal was to bring collaboration inside public and private organizations.
Born from a first year of ad hoc projects between Montreal, Strasbourg, Barcelona and New York, f. & co is the formalization of a partnership through a structured endeavour, using qualified staff and simple processes that facilitates the convergence of research, trendwatching, animation, editing and consulting tasks.
Its activities have led it to work in numerous contexts, notably in France, Spain, Belgium, Sweden, United States and Canada. The highly international orientation of its philosophy – associating the best researchers, thinkers, designers, consultants and writers in these spaces – creates favorable conditions for its clients to rely on knowledge and methodologies that stand on the creative edges of collaboration research.
It is worth noting that f. & co‘s work is strongly co-dependent (and co-evolving) with academic research in economics, management, sociology and political science.
