Montreal, 21 October 2015 — f. & co is launching Éminence, a new service providing a proven personal branding process for entrepreneurs and leaders with vision and ambition who want to push their career forward by bringing their competence to light.
This tailored coaching service is designed for entrepreneurs and leaders who are launching major business projects or considering a professional pivot. Éminence’s clients want to shine in their business community and fulfill their professional ambitions through a strong and authentic personal branding strategy.
At the confluence of the academic, marketing and stategic consulting worlds, Éminence rests on two principles that are fundamental for f. & co: “Our ambition is to emphasize the collaborative competence of individuals and to do so by developing rigourous and well-tried methodologies, explains its president Louis-Félix Binette. A rigourous method adapted to the business world
Éminence provides a structured framework for talented professionals who are engaged in their work and projects and have no-one to turn to in order to stand out, improve their service offering and become leaders in their business community.
The arrival of Pierre Balloffet, professor of entrepreneurship and innovation at HEC Montréal, as acedemic partner at f. & co enabled the documentation and deepening of the Éminence methodology, declined in three modules and inspired from marketing and strategic consulting apporaches. According to Prof. Ballofet, “mastering your image and personal brand is increasingly crucial to attain business goals. Nevertheless, we observe a critical lack of that kind of consulting services in Quebec’s business landscape.”
Tailored consulting to build an authentic and coherent brand
Having been approached by numerous Quebec business personalities in the past year led f. & co to this conclusion. Then the idea grew to develop a methodology to accompany them in the process of personal branding by building on their distinct strengths. Renaud Margairaz, head of consulting at f. & co, was the initiator of the project. For him: “to build a coherent and perennial reputation strategy, understanding what differenciates you as a professional is crucial. This important milestone in f. & co’s expansion of its service offering was celebrated at L’Auberge Saint-Gabriel with friends and clients of the firm in a cocktail party event that was titled “Faire sa marque” (Make One’s Mark). Professor Balloffet gave a brief address on the significance of branding in professional development.
