Louis-Felix Binette keynote speaker at the first international industrial engineering conference in Bucaramanga, Colombia
MONTRÉAL, 17 May 2015 – On the 19th of May, Louis-Félix Binette, managing partner and cofounder of f. & co, will deliver the keynote address at the opening ceremony of CI3. His conference, “The global R&D lab: the planet as a network of innovators" will look at the potential and impact of highly democratized and decentralized innovation capacities.
Louis-Félix will explore some of the impacts of the new economy on research and development and look at how decentralized research and production capacity have allowed for a burst of creativity, both from a technological R&D perspective and from a commercial "business model" perspective. Linking the topic to the important issues raised during his last visit to Colombia, he will explain how this decentralization has also changed the way we bring about social change and make our communities better.
This first edition of the international industrial engineering congress will gather mostly entrepreneurs and academic personalities, but also professionals in various other fields like social, medical or design.
Louis-Félix will take advantage of this second visit to Colombia to meet groups of entrepreneurs and creatives, as well as strengthening relationships with the organizers Colombia's two CreativeMornings chapters, in Bogotá and Barranquilla.
