Fifteen Montreal designers rethink the future of collaboration
At the invitation of Tata Communications, fifteen inspired Montreal designers are putting their brains together at the heart of C2MTL. Their mission is to solve an issue that is at the very centre of any sane organization’s preoccupation: the future of collaboration.
As our economy is globalized and the boundaries of organizations are broken up by value chain integration and open innovation, multidisciplinary teams now regularly have to work across platforms, networks, time zones and, often, cultures. The way we work together must change.
In a 30-hour marathon culminating with a five-minute-pitch session and the announcement of the winning projects on C2’s main stage — just before James Cameron’s closing presentation —, these talented designers will make every effort to rethink how we work, turn the pain points of working together in opportunities to collaborate. They will have to turn sources of delays and frustration into engines of efficiency, creativity and fun.
