Deciphering the social web, one coffee shop at a time!

MONTREAL, Jan. 19th 2013 – An undeniably fruitful meeting this afternoon between Francis Gosselin, Serge Labelle  (Founder + President) and Yuko Nakamura (Director of Operations & Coaching) of Akuntsu to explore the numerous complementarities between these three social web aficionados. 

 

 

After a few short minutes, the many parallels to be drawn between the structures, the ambitions and the dynamics of the two startups became obvious, the young f. & co evidently charmed and inspired by the business model of a "particularly global" Akuntsu, whose activities reach all corners of the globe, with a particular focus on North America, Asia and Eastern Europe. 

 

Akuntsu's proposals is developed along four lines: 1) coaching, 2) brokering, 3) strategizing and 4) marketing innovation, which is not so far from f. & co's very own set of propositions.  A sign of the times, perhaps, but also a certain reading of the current zeitgeist, the fact that these formel identities are complementary in so many ways only add to the chemistry of the characters at play!

 

 

 

Without disclosing any particular strategic elements, it now seems more likely that the two companies will have the opportunity to collaborate shortly. In the meantime, do find Akuntsu + Social Media Business on Facebook, LinkedIn, or become part of their CEO Denis Labelle (and his 300 000 friends!) on Google+ !
